Analytics on the public site

If you accept, the public site — marketing site, blog and help centre — measures its traffic using PostHog. That measurement is strictly bounded:

• It serves only to understand which pages are useful and to improve them
• It is not used for advertising, resale or cross-referencing with other sites
• The data is hosted in the European Union, and IP addresses are not retained

Without your consent, no measurement takes place: nothing is stored and no request is sent.

The application

The application, which you reach with an account, falls under a different regime: what it stores is there to make it work, not to track you.

• Your sign-in session, without which you would have to retype your password on every page
• The language you have chosen

Measuring use of the service, described in the privacy policy, relies on an identifier stored on your device. It is not subject to consent — it rests on the legitimate interest in fixing and improving a service used under contract — but you may object at any time from your account preferences.

The application therefore shows no banner: there would be nothing to accept or decline that cannot be settled from your account.

What is stored in every case

The public site keeps two pieces of information, without which it would work poorly. They serve only that purpose and never leave your device:

• The language you have chosen, so as to serve it to you again on your next visit
• Your answer to the question above, so as not to ask it again on every page

This information is exempt from consent: it is strictly necessary for the service you asked for.
