The Company screen holds your organisation’s identity. It is restricted to administrators: a member can neither edit nor save it.

The fields

Field	What it is for
Trading name	The name shown inside Kimori, to you and your colleagues. The only one you really see day to day.
Legal name	The full legal denomination (“Ma Société SAS”).
Registration number	SIRET in France, BCE in Belgium, IDE in Switzerland — the field adapts to your country.
VAT number	Intra-EU format (FR12345678901). Carried over automatically to the payment page, it determines how VAT is handled on your invoices — worth entering before subscribing.
Address, postcode, city	Postal details, reproduced on your invoices.
Country	See the warning below: this field is not decorative.
Billing email	The address invoices are sent to, if different from yours — typically your accountant’s.

The country is not a trivial field

Changing the country changes your template library

The country determines which regulatory templates are offered: a French company’s obligations are not a Belgian or Swiss company’s. Changing it changes what you see in the library, for the whole organisation.

It also governs subscription availability: Kimori is not yet sold everywhere, and an unsupported country blocks the purchase.

Automatic lookup

When you create your organisation, entering your company name is enough: Kimori queries the official register and pre-fills the legal name, registration number and address. You keep control of every field.

If the company found has been struck off the register, Kimori tells you rather than carrying the information over silently — a frequent case with a former establishment whose name is still in circulation.

What lives elsewhere

Two settings appear on this screen but have their own logic, covered separately: the shared document space, which decides where the team’s documents land, and the subscription, its usage and its billing.
