Importing a file

If you already track your deadlines in a spreadsheet, you do not have to retype it all. The import accepts Excel and CSV files.

  1. The file — you drop it in, and Kimori reads the first row to work out your columns.
  2. The mapping — Kimori proposes a match between each column of your file and an Kimori field. The proposal is automatic, and you can correct it. A column you do not want to bring over is simply left aside.
  3. The check — before confirming, you see row by row what will be created, with errors flagged and duplicates spotted.

Nothing is created until you confirm the final step.

There is no export at this stage: no spreadsheet, no PDF. Your data leaves Kimori only through calendar synchronisation, if you have switched it on.
