Kimori stops you from finding out too late that an insurance policy has lapsed, an inspection is overdue or a licence is no longer valid.

The principle, in two levels

One register, its deadlines

A register is something you keep an eye on: a van, an employee, a contract. Each register carries one or more deadlines — the dates that expire.

For example, the register “Van AB-123-CD” carries two deadlines: the roadworthiness test and the insurance policy. The register “Marie Dupont” carries her medical check-up and her electrical certification.

The Registers screen brings together all your registers; the Deadlines screen gives you the opposite view — every upcoming date, whichever register it belongs to.

A deadline always belongs to a register

You cannot create a standalone expiry date. That is what guarantees you will still know what it refers to six months later — and who to call.

What Kimori does not ask of you

There are no mandatory fields. Kimori knows nothing about your trade: it is your templates that describe the information worth tracking. A garage, a medical practice and a construction firm do not use the same ones — and that is deliberate.
