Signing up happens in one go, in five steps. You can come back to it later: Kimori brings you back to where you left off.

1. The account

Three ways in — the result is the same:

• Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft: nothing to remember, and the permission to reach your documents can be added on top at step 4;
• an email address and a password of at least 8 characters.

With email, a confirmation link goes out straight away. Open it to activate the account: until you do, signing in is refused. The message sometimes takes a minute — check your spam folder, and ask for it again from the waiting screen if needed.

Were you invited by a colleague?

Then you have neither this step nor the plan step: your access already exists, all that is left is choosing a password. The workspace you join is your company’s.

2. Your details

Your name, then the country, then your company. The order matters: the country decides where Kimori looks your company up.

• In France, type the name or the SIREN number: matching companies are offered, and picking one fills in the rest.
• Elsewhere, give your EU VAT number. Kimori checks it against the European VIES system and confirms the registered name it found.

The country also determines which regulatory templates are offered: obligations are not the same from one country to the next.

All of this can be changed afterwards from Settings → Company.

3. The plan

Three offers, monthly or yearly. Discovery is free and needs no card: it is enough to get started, and you can change later.

For a paid plan, payment happens on the page, without leaving the sign-up. Kimori never sees your card number: it is entered in a form belonging to Stripe, our payment provider.

4. Calendar and documents

Optional, and reversible. If you connect Google Drive or OneDrive, Kimori files your supporting documents in your own space and creates a dedicated “Kimori” calendar where your deadlines appear.

Your files stay with you: Kimori keeps only the reference and the date. You can skip this step and do it later from Settings, or revoke the permission whenever you want.

5. All set

Your workspace is ready. What comes next fits on one page: create your first register.

If your access is awaiting approval

When someone at your company has already created the workspace, your request is passed on to them: an administrator has to accept it. You will see a waiting screen, and access opens as soon as it is approved — no need to create another account.

Forgotten password

From the sign-in screen, Forgot your password? sends a reset link to your address. It works once.
