Custom fields

Kimori knows nothing about your trade — deliberately. No information is imposed: you decide what is worth recording.

What you can add

On a register as on a deadline, you define your own fields: an insurance policy number, a registration plate, a serial number, a contact name, an amount.

Each field has a type — text, number, date, list — which determines how it is entered and displayed.

Where to define them

Two routes, depending on whether the need is one-off or recurring:

• Directly on a register, when the information concerns only that one.
• In a template, when every register in the same family should carry the same fields. Each new register created from that template picks them up automatically.

An empty field is not an error

You can define a field and fill it in later. Nothing blocks the creation of a register because a piece of information is missing.

Finding them again

Custom fields appear on the register’s page and in the deadline’s detail view. They are also among the columns offered when importing a file.
